SCRAPING PROCESS

Firstly, We will remove the worst of the moss with our selection of steel scraper blades that are profiled to fit the shape of your tiles. Once the moss is eradicated from your roof, we clear all gutters, any blocked downpipes and drains before spraying. 

Secondly, We apply a HSE Approved Biocide solution that will absorb into the tiles and start breaking down the remaining organic growth and lichens. 

The nature of this treatment will act as a preventative against moss developing again for up to several years. 

I recommend another biocide application after 3 years to keep your roof moss free and looking good. 

PRESSURE WASHING

The process for this method will give a more instant clean result with regards to your original tile colour. 

Working from a mobile scaffold tower, your roof is carefully cleaned using our machine set at the correct pressure to remove the moss, algae and years of dirt. 

The guttering is always disconnected to avoid any blockages during the cleaning process and we use tarpaulin to catch as much waste as possible. 

The second phase applies by finishing with a biocide treatment to remove any stubborn lichen spores and to prevent moss regrowth for up to several years.
